How I started

Hello all.

A whole bunch of years ago a friend of mines mom collected buttons.  When ever she would go anywhere, if she saw someone in a store wearing a promo button, she would ask if she could have it.  9 out of 10 times, they would give it to her.

I thought it was kind of cool, so I started doing it too.  I wasn't as bold as she was, so I didn't get as many as she did.  Then I started finding ones with things that I though were funny, so I would buy those and add them to my collection.

I have a few hundred buttons at this point.  None of them are worth anything, but it's fun to collect them.  I have a large piece of cloth in my hallway that all the buttons are pinned to.
